Salon Policies
At Brushed Roots Salon, we want every visit to feel welcoming, relaxed and enjoyable. Our salon policies help us respect the time of our guests and stylists while providing the best possible experience for everyone. Please take a moment to review them before your appointment.
Cancellations & No-Shows
We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. No-call/no-show appointments may be charged 100% of the scheduled service price.
These policies help us respect our stylists’ time and allow us the opportunity to offer the appointment to another guest.
Service Adjustments
Your satisfaction is important to us. If you have a concern with your hair after your appointment, please contact Brushed Roots Salon within 5 days of your service so we have the opportunity to evaluate and address your concern.
If an adjustment related to the original service is needed, we are happy to make the appropriate correction within that 5-day period. Requests for a different color, style, or result than originally discussed are considered a new service and will be priced accordingly.
Brushed Roots Salon does not provide refunds on completed services. Our service adjustment policy allows us the opportunity to address concerns and make appropriate corrections to the original service.
Children & Minors
For the comfort and safety of our guests and stylists, we kindly ask that children who are not receiving a service do not accompany guests to their appointments.
Guests under the age of 18 receiving a service must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian must be present for the consultation and remain available during the appointment.
This allows our stylists to provide a safe, relaxing environment and give each guest their full attention.
Late Arrivals
We understand that unexpected delays happen. If you are running late, please contact the salon or your stylist as soon as possible.
Arriving late may require us to modify your scheduled service or reschedule your appointment to avoid impacting the next guest. The original service price may still apply when appointment time has been reserved specifically for you.

Color & Lightening Appointments
Every guest’s hair is unique, and results may vary based on hair history, condition, texture and at-home care. Your stylist will recommend professional products and maintenance when appropriate to help protect your results and maintain the health of your hair.
Brushed Roots Salon cannot guarantee the longevity of color or other services when recommended aftercare instructions are not followed.
Hair color results and appointment timing can vary based on your hair’s length, density, condition, starting color and previous color history.
Please be open and honest with your stylist about previous professional color, at-home color or box dye, lightening and chemical services. This information helps us choose the safest and most appropriate approach for your hair.
Your stylist will work toward your desired result within the time reserved for your appointment while prioritizing the health and integrity of your hair. Some color goals may require additional time, services or multiple appointments.
Major color changes, color corrections and fantasy colors may require a consultation before an appointment can be scheduled.
Pricing
Service prices listed online are starting prices and may vary based on your hair’s length, density, condition, product needed, and the time required to achieve your desired result.
Your stylist will discuss any significant changes to the expected service or pricing with you before proceeding whenever possible.
